Product Description:
Oil Diffusion Pumps
Oil diffusion pumps generate high vacuum and rapidly pump fluids in the form of vapor (oil vapor). All fluid-driven pumps feature a similar pumping mechanism, in which the pumping fluid is heated by an electric heater in a chamber, and the oil vapor expands after passing through the nozzles of the jet stack. The molecules of the gas being evacuated diffuse into the vapor stream and leave the pump chamber.
DIFFVAC DP
Leybold’s DIFFVAC DP series of oil diffusion pumps generate high vacuum and rapidly pump fluids in the form of vapor (oil vapor). The DIFFVAC DP series represents the latest generation of diffusion pumps. The new, advanced design of these vacuum pumps is aimed at improving energy efficiency, durability, and uptime. Furthermore, the DP series delivers greater value to customers thanks to its outstanding pumping speed and high throughput. They achieve maximum pumping speeds within a pressure range of 10⁻² to 10⁻⁷ mbar.
DP 30K
The DIFFVAC DP 30K is available in 400V ~ 3Ph, 50 Hz and 460V ~ 3Ph, 60 Hz configurations. These pumps are models available for use with accessories.
Features and Benefits
Our oil diffusion pumps feature high pumping speed, high vacuum, high gas handling capacity, and reduced oil backflow, making them a reliable solution for a wide range of applications. They are used in high-vacuum technology to evacuate vacuum chambers. These pumps also include energy-efficient options such as the Energy Efficiency Controller (EEC), which helps reduce your carbon footprint. The DP Series oil diffusion pumps also require minimal maintenance, as there are no rotating parts to cause wear. The pump also prioritizes safety by monitoring oil temperature and heater temperature by default. If the temperature exceeds a preset value, a thermostat in the heating element shuts it off—protecting your pump and the entire process.
